The Alpine Resorts Co-ordinating Council is a statutory body.

The Council reports to the Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, the Hon Liliana (Lily) D’Ambrosio MP. The Council consists of a chairperson and four members appointed on the recommendation of the Minister and the chairperson of each Alpine Resort Management Board.
