Stakeholder Engagement Action Plan

The Alpine Resorts Co-ordinating Council together with Alpine Resort Management Boards, are committed to actively and genuinely engaging with stakeholders on decisions that affect them. We worked with community engagement and public relations specialist, Currie Communications, on an action plan to help us deliver improved and consistent engagement across the Victorian alpine sector. The action plan outlines the collaborative process we undertook to agree on a sector-wide policy and vision for engagement, along with 12 key actions we have committed to implement over the next 12 months.

Stakeholder Engagement Policy

The Stakeholder Engagement Policy serves as a public statement of the ARCC’s commitment to engaging with stakeholders who may be affected by decisions we make. It was developed with two rounds of consultation and reflects what stakeholders told us they valued – clear processes that are planned, transparent, genuine, proactive, inclusive and timely. The policy also describes the sector’s vision for engagement and defines important engagement language adopted from the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2). The ARCC are grateful for the level of stakeholder interest received and the constructive suggestions that helped shape the final version of the policy.
